Sennheiser Headphones

Me Reinventing headphones, Jan 2007

I started with Sennheiser HD400 headphones somewhere at the age of 16 (the year 1980), and since we have several headphones in the familiy such as the famous HD424 and recenty the HD650. In order to keep myself up to date with impedance and frequency response figures I decided to collect some more data on Senns. I'll probably skip the in-ear and wireless models.

Note: The technical specs on the Sennheiser homepage do not correspond to the figures in the technical documents. The HD650 has a sensitivity of 103dB in the technical specs on the homepage but 115dB in the PDF documentation.

Also, the nominal impedance of the 515, 55 and 595 is according to the German site 50 Ohms and not 120.
