Where to get your parts

On this page I want to give an overview of the components used to build my Hounddog. As promised on the introduction page: All components used are generally available in every electronics shop. Good stuff but not exotic.

Here you will find the spreadsheet with the Bill of Material. I cannot guarantee that all information contained in the spreadsheet is 100% accurate, I'm sure I missed some small components and also I bought some resistors etc. in a local electronics shop when Conrad was not able to deliver in time.

But, in general the list will be quite complete.

Here you will find the schematics of the amplifier and the power supply . I copied them from the site of Dogstar before it closed down. My shopping list uses the same numbering of components as Fred.

On page 3b is descibed how I modified the power supply for the hounddog. In fact, I redesigned it completely. At the bottom of the shopping list you will find a +/- list you need in order to end up with the same phono amplifier as I built.
